PRIVATE RESIDENCE II

TEXT FROMĀ MAP DEVELOPMENT:

Braced by a knifing limestone wall and inclined steel post and beam frame, this monument stands to the sun like a temple on a large view, small space site. A twelve foot high sliding glass wall breathes in the ocean below. Translucent light elements feed light through the suspended steel stair to the lower living areas. Exposed concrete and a minimal material palette create an organic aesthetic.
